Renewable Heating

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) will launch in spring 2022 to aid the decarbonisation of buildings. It will provide upfront capital grants to support the installation of heat pumps, and in some circumstances biomass boilers, in homes and some non-domestic buildings. The BUS will be open to properties located in England and Wales.

Renewable Heating throughout The Cotswolds

Renewable heating is a great way to ensure that your carbon footprint and energy bills are reduced.  There are plenty of options to choose from, these include:

Heat pumps

Air source heat pumps take energy from the air around us.  This energy is upgraded to use for heating and hot water in place of traditional fossil fuelled heating.  They are a cost effective way to heat your home if you are using oil, electric or LPG to heat your home. They can use stored cheap rate electricity or solar generated electricity to produce heat for the home.

We are proud members of the Mitsubishi Partner Program and Nibe VIP installer program.   We are accredited installers of Samsung EHS, Vaillant AroTherm, Daikin Altherma, LG Therma V and Dimplex.

Ground Source heat pumps take energy from the ground via water filled loops.   This energy is upgraded to use for heating and hot water in place of traditional fossil fuelled heating.   We install these systems in medium sized houses (from 12 Kw) up to large mansions (up to 400 Kw), and we are prepared to work with customers with any size project, bringing the knowledge and expertise of over ten years working with heat pumps.

Solar Photovoltaic Panels

Solar PV generates electricity from the suns light (photons) and converts it into usable electricity, this can either be sold back to the mains grid or used in the home. Now, with the prevalence of battery storage, more people are storing that energy and using it at home. this energy can also be used to run a heat pump to heat your house, hot water or swimming pool; saving huge amounts off your bill. With the increase cost of gas, there is now a positive drive to change from your natural gas boiler to a combined system using a combination of Solar PV, Battery and Heat Pump, allowing you to be virtually off grid and not subject increasing energy costs, not to mention seriously reducing your impact on the environment.

Solar Thermal Panels

Solar Thermal Panels are used to create hot water for use at home.  The sun heats the panels, then that heat is transported to your hot water cylinder; free hot water from the sun.   You can also take advantage of the government’s RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) scheme to help repay the cost of your system over the next 7 years.

We are the only company around Wiltshire and the Cotswolds that can offer you Solar Thermal that will work for you and your home.  We install and service systems from small domestic, to the largest system in the UK!  If you have a solar thermal system that is underperforming or not working, book a service with us to make your system as efficient as possible, we are the only company in the South West with the experience and knowledge to do this!
